Nigeria introduces novel recycling incentives



Innovative loyalty scheme in Lagos offers electrical equipment, groceries and phone credit in return for rubbish.


Lagos, Nigeria's largest city, produces around 10,000 tonnes of waste every day.

To tackle the problem, working class neighbourhoods are being offered incentives to recycle rubbish.
